when cold nipples hard
Dave's been pestering me about using that subject line.. so there! Are you happy?!!

So the state of the flooz. What is happening on this planet called floozyspeak. Hmmm well first off, I want to link this: Theatre Roulette 2005, for Dave and I to explore later. He's getting close to doing an open mic some night, maybe myself as well, in the meantime I say we take one of the few hundred ideas we seem to come up with all the time and crank out a script for the MadLab. Other happenings coming up in the Short North.
This past weekend I attended the 20th Anniversy of the Gallery Hop here in downtown Columbus Ohio's Short North area. I wasn't alone, I had my special someone with me. As some of you may have known I've been doing the dating thing lately. Its all so new and so nice I must say. I haven't really been with anyone for a long time and with all goodness thats be afoot in the world of dan as of late, I figure its high time I date again. Lola if yer reading this, meet me behind school!
So the Buckeye's lost.. oooooo, ouch! Dave probably cried that night. However the gator has moved to a new campground. I tell ya, the gator man moves every six months to hide his real idenity. And those of you concerned about the subject heading.. i blame dave! Ha.. actually ok it was my idea to see Sky Captain, and I dont know why they had to have that line in the movie.. you'll have to see the flick to understand... or maybe not. Ha! That whole flick, the script especially has some major problems, and while I love flicks like the Rocketter and what not.. outa the blue when a line comes across the screen - hey btw, when cold nipples hard... yer left wondering, wtf, was that just placed in there to get the flick a little edgyness! Sad sad.. And gwenth does nothing for me btw. And what happened to the 900+ staff at the base camp, were they just all blown away?
"Big second album by Vienna`s outstanding recording duo dZihan + Kamien! This excellent work is a generation conjoining album, a bridge built on Jazz connecting past and present. The creative process for this full length album began as they discovered some original tapes recorded by their fathers, both professional Jazz musicians in the 50s and 60s. The two creative sons sampled some of these, organized recording sessions together with musicians from the Istanbul music scene, invited the legendary percussionist Sammy Figueroa, gave space for the vocalists General Santana, Ma.Dita and Daniela and summarized all this for some inspirational listening delight."
I'd like to thank Dzihan & Kamien for thier muscial goodness as well. I think we all need to stand up and thank a artist now and then, their grooves inspire our grooves and those grooves go on to do great things. Ya know I did a quick search for Dzihan & Kamien and came across this interesting site: gnod - what do people who like dzihan & kamien listen to?
So ya the Hop! It was nice. Saturday started looking pretty gloomy but after two red stripes and plate full of nachos.. the sun appeared and the blue sky shined upon me. Actually I didn't know it was the 20th anniversity, that was a nice little bonus. Fireworks as well even. We pulled into the Smith Bro's parking lot and there were fireworks.. nice. Extra added polish to a great evening. The hop was jumping, musical street groupies, folks russlin about hand in hand, it was brisky but warm, the buckeyes roared on the screen, macs piano goodness had the gang singing aloud. It as a very nice evening... I'd love to take credit for the whole plan, but honestly Lola, I can't. Except for that one part.
......lunch time
Today's lunch was brought to you by Kooma in the north market area. I had a korean dish called bibimbap, veggies, egg, pork, rice, spicey sauce served in a very hot stone pot, that and weeee bit of sushi!
Hmmm in other news, we've been working our new brand idenity at work lately and somehow we stumbled into words, images, and ice cream that represents us individually. While I fought to be known as Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, I didn't get the title. Instead I was Karmal Sutra has been named as the ice cream to represent me. I found some last night shopping. Thats a deadly ice cream. Bits of chocolate, a huge dab of karmel and then sweeet vanilla. I've never seen karmel, er carmel in its purest of carmel like form, all nesstled between ice cream. Makes ya wanna go straight to the karmel, forget about the ice cream.
Let see what else is happening. I've been listening to the Dungeon Masters Guide alot lately. Some really good tracks in there, its sent me to the avid editing the other day. I keep seeing videos in my mind i need to edit to this music. Especially for track 16 and 17.
Well I guess this is enough for now. Stay Frisky Floozies.
