drink more water
I figure Starbucks and the 11 cents increase today made roughly 220K. Thats basically my estimate that an average store doing $1500 a day sellin on average a drink thats $3 bucks x 4000 stores and I know they have more is basically 220k. Thats a nice prize. Will 11 cents matter? It sure as hell will matter on a tall white chocolate mocha is already a stupidly expensive 3 bucks or something, for a tall.. what the hell! 3 Bucks, thats lunch baby. Ahhh well. I do miss the white mochas, the carmel mchiatos, etc but overall I love that i'm off coffee, it bothers my stomach. Least in the portions i used to consume it in. Gimme a little tea and i'm peachy.
Now don't get me wrong I did enjoy the book Pour Yer Heart Into It, the story of how Starbucks came to be. Those inital early years, and the momentum they achieved etc, great story, great success, but now I expect allot more from them.
Other ramblings, the Hollywood Reporter. Ok I used to get this mag when I worked at ADV, now the other day I saw an offer, get a free issue! And so I said ok sure, send me an issue, now I get it like 3 times a week. I have stacks of them. And I stopped reading them after the first 10 or so. I gave some to a friend going to Hollywood to do her thing in the biz but now I have a bunch more again.
Drink more water, clean up yer own dishes, never leave the frisky side of floozy.
