campfire tea
Ok so today was Lextant Lunch day, we take one day in the month and do community grouping mass leaving the officey lunchie. Todays destination was Lemon Grass in the Short North. Wow.. really tasty. I had the ginger chicken and the campfire tea.... campfire tea? Yes.
I swear the thai sweet tea the served me tasted like several things: a campfire, a sweaty converse shoe, or a soggy dog toy. I just tasted wrong but I kept drinking it. It had this raw dry taste, really strange. I like campfire tea cause that has a nice ring to it. I'll try and post some videos of it later. My mighty musty cam was used extensively during lunch to capture the moment only to then realize it was in macro mode with some strange effect running... weeee! USEFUL!
To continue my ginger theme, I stole some ginger off of Jen's sushi plate and even topped off the entire meal with a ginger snap latte. I'm all about ginger baby!
So ya, it really tasted like a campfire. And I say sweaty dog toy cause my Katie, bless her little doggie heart was a great dog. And sure she was golden and retrivived well and such but she gave me these big sloppy kisses.. er licks and that tea tasted like her! Ha! Too funny.
Ok I gotta keep the buzz going, I keep escaping the pending doom of Pep Boys.
