a little fun
Two weekends ago my brother Paul and I test drove the Ford F150 Lightning. We tested it for a good 45mins it seemed like.. probably the longest "test" drive i've been on in a while. Paul had driven the Lightning before and loved how it could just burn rubber and lots of it. After picking up the truck and convincing Barry our salesman that we were serious... honest.. really.. we screamed out to Avery road area and looked for places to do sit and spins, 360's you name it. That is one FAST and furious truck. I never thought about trucks before as being anything sporty or just pure crazy... the Lightning is all that and more. Paul had a hard time resisting the urge to do sit and spins everywhere we went. It was a fun run and sadly like all good times eventually they end and we had to face the dealership and get the dreaded pitch. I hate the pitch personally, "what's it gonna take to sell you this truck!" luckily we had a good story, "it cant pull our boat..." and it worked, yer right it can't. Still having to sit thru a 15min pitch was too much for me. I was egar to test the next car.
