inital impressions

My inital impressions of the Epson Photo 900, the $200 color photo printer that can print on CD/DVD's, are wow, cool, that's awesome, etc... Install was a breeze and my first cd printing was a cake. It went fast too, almost too fast I wonder if i'm in draft mode or something. Anyways three discs down and I have to say I like it.. its good! Now what to do with the 820? Dunno. The software the 900 came with is typical big icon funky looking but it imported my fireworks files just fine and in minutes I was crankin out cd prints like I used to do with the old stomper which just retired... Course now i'm banished to the land of printable media. Printable CDR's could be found at microCenter but printable DVDR's not so easily found. I'll try a few more local stores tomorrow but I have a feeling those babies are online order only. Size wise its a bit bigger than the 820 but not by much and I'm sure it will eat ink just like the 820 as well. Still for $200 this is a solid purchase and my CDR's will love me for it.
