RIPCAST, gaming and more

Going thru 5 GIGs of music is harder than I expected. I knew it'd take some time to filter thru it all but geeze.. gah, this is taking a bit. I wasn't sure but I confirmed it yesterday, 80kbps files dont translate to cdr's. So all my DRS yadda dadda tracks wont burn to CD. That's a bummer. Sure they burn but they dont play back correctly. 128kbps play back ok though. A minor setback in the great effort.

Sometimes I come across a hundred or so songs that I've never heard of artist wise and I dunno that's just suprising to me still. Least in the realm of techno and such, I mean I thought I had it all. Least for a time back there in the 90's I had a very complete collection. Still to come across techno artists I've never heard of, just odd to me still. Granted I deleted most of the tracks, cause well, thats why I never heard of them, didnt get on the decent groove radar. Then I hear songs that were ripped from other songs or songs that had riffs that people would later steal from them, the sampled. The occasionally you hit a ringer, a song ya know but you never knew.

Things are looking pretty bleeeeeek on the gaming front these days, well PC gaming at least. Consoles its still just racing games, nothing else is catchin my eye on consoles lately and on the PC.. well.. there just nothing out there that grabs me. I killed off AC2 as hard as it was killing off a high lvl character in there, but it just wasnt baggin the fun time for the $$ spent playing it. I started playing Dungeon Siege again for fun, added some mods and so far so good its ok. Can't find my UT 2003 or Quake 3 dics.. that what I really need to be playing. So Clint if yer reading this and have those discs over there, lemme snag them back. :P

I debated getting Tron2.0 just for the graphics, the game itself, least the demo I played didnt appeal to me all that much. But the graphics look amazing and I love that look so thats a maybe. I've even put Serious Sam back on the drives, I need something.

ripcast update

I had RipCast pull seven, yes SEVEN, radio streams this morning. Five of the stations were casting 128kbps, one was 160kbps and one was 80kbps. And the result? Well I just got home and checked it.. 5 GIG's people. 5 GIG's of music just like that. Its like track harvesting. I remember getting all excited over 5 tracks that Kazaa found out of the 20 I wanted. Here I just laned on a mere 5 GIG's of music to listen to and sort out. Thats awesome!!

this old hybrid

This Old Hybrid 29MB Quicktime File
This Old Hybrid 18MB Mpeg4 File
This Old Hybrid 4MB Mpeg4 File (but doesnt end in mp4)
This Old Hybrid 3MB 160x120 for really small people Quicktime File

My first love of video editing was editing to music. To me an audio piece can make or break a good trailer. Even still, if you got a crappy piece of music, say back when I worked at ADV we often had nada to work with, a good edit could always be achieved by tagging it to the beat of the music.

Alot of times when I'm working on personal projects I have a song in mind already, I just need some video, or vice versa, I have some video.. now I cant do anything without the music. In April of this year the gang, Bob, Todd, Troy, Clint... ya know the thursday night gang gathered together to take on the challenge of installing a new radio in Bob's 2001 Honda Insight. Now I know what this meant, we were all to show and bask in the glory of Troy's knowledge. Troy is the worker, the do guy, the guy that figures it out. Bob is the researcher, doer etc, the one that poses the challenge, researches it, provides the object to modify and finds the answer, Todd is the overseer, he's the head the coach, Clint is the facilicator, he's the guy that when you GeeperXK511B, odds are he's got it somewhere, or hell lets just go get it. Of course we'd be no where without our ladies and so special thanks to Traci for enduring her MBA, she will tell us great stories, and Lynn for bringing cheer to the set of... This Old Hybrid. Naturally I'm just the camera man really. My first goal was just to record the event and make something out of it later. It seemed like a great place to jump into car guts video, though without a script really, I hadn't really planned anything out. But then again I didn't want to get to close. Lets see how it unfolds I think is where I was headed.

Shooting the video proved challenging as well. I really need a stready cam, but later in the video as you can see I managed to get by. Shooting the video on a Sony miniDV camera gave me great quality and the perfect place to test my new pinhole camera which worked really well at the end of a mop handle Clint provided for me. It was the perfect up close get in there and see cam, something I could of never of done with my guding the camera alone. This gave me some great footage, stuff I didnt really expect to see, under the car, inside the engine, following todds hands around, going behind the dash, thru the wiring areas.. and grabbing a cool low to the ground effect look. During the shoot I managed to grab some vocal camera bits, I interviewed Todd in a "whats happening here sorta way" thinking at the time what would work well for a trailer concept. I really didnt want to make a 30min episode and without really talking to the gang first and planning it out by shots etc, and god forbid attempting to organize conversation.. well that wasnt going to happen. So by thinking about what verbal pieces i would use, I snagged them whenever they came to mind.

In the end I shot about 5x60min video tapes. Thats alot of footage to crank down into a 5min music video. It is but it isn't. Just cause you ahve 5 hrs doesnt mean its all usable to its fullest extent. Next up came deciding on what the concept would be. This Old Hybrid or Monster Garage, or Hybrid Garage, or This Old Monster, I dunno.. what was I going to do. I opted for the music video because after seeing the footage I decided ok what do I want to do, do I want to educate? I cant do that, do I want to remember? yes I can do that, lets remember. Find and center on clips and effect styles that can help us remember these two days. The bennyhill speed up video effect came together by accident when i started playing with motion speeds on the avid. Actually first thing that happened was picking a song, I got the song a fast groovy mexican fesita track that to me suited what we accomplished, a shit load of work in a short span of time. Next I played with multiple motion effects and pieced together the bult of the edit. When a song slows down its telling me something, it says 'insert dialogue here" so I did. I found the bits i recorded earlier and crafted together something I think actually works pretty well. I stopped the video when I had to streess a visual piece and then sped it up again to get it all moving.

The cored edit was done by June, and then i ran into some glitches. The avid started crashing alot and i didnt know why. Sure i had a hacked copy at home, that could of been it, I should get the real deal, this hacked 3.5 copy on XP was awesome, color correction and real exporting abilities were very nice, but the every 15min crashes were killing my spirit. I walked away.
Well technically I didnt walk away soley for that reason..... the other thing that was bugging me was the lack of titles.. i had a good 5-15 seconds where some titles would have to be displayed and i couldnt think, all i got was a blank slate. I dropped avid work for after effects work and started scouring the net for honda insight pics, snagged some of bobs with his help and found some good sites with info he gave me. After effects needed more.. and the learning curve kept kicking me as well.

Come August and wander into the Avid again and see my incomplete work. I should finish that I say to myself. I decide on flash for titles and crank out something, fast, anything. Problem was the titling for This Old Hybrid just didnt look right. I watched some anime that night and it came to me, I need a crazy half japanese, half english title.. thats perfect.. why? I dunno why, I just liked it.. it fit. After I got that piece in the rest came together and now you have it. its Done.

music, quicktime pro and more

At last... no more hassle finding music with Kazaa.. i've kicked it to the curb! Why? Well let's think about this, where do I find out about new music? Mostly off streaming internet radio stations like SomaFM and most recently DSR..yadda dadda which after a few minutes playing you can always find me writing down about song names within just minutes of it running, the DRS station is just that good. I have post-it after post-it of get this song, and that song etc. Typically the success ratio I have for finding that music in Kazaa is less than say, 30%. So most of my time is wasted, putting the info in Kazaa and continually hitting the "find more" "find again" "find godamnit" buttons... and then when I do get a bead on a track, I have to watch Kazaa like a hawk to make sure it actually downloads the track or else it will sit in infinite "qued, or searching" mode.

No more will I do such downloading, and its not to please to RIAA, its because of Rip Cast. I thought about this last night after another struggle to find many of the DSR tracks I've been looking for. I know they are often rare, not easy finds on Kazaa, most of my collection is like that, I get used to that part. But then I thought about it.. what about those apps that can record streaming radio as it comes in? what about that?

Ok factor in a few things, my range of quality has never equalled the sound itself. I'd rather have a distored semi low quality copy of a song then to never have the song. I'm a simple creature, I need the sound. 128k streams are fine, 80k, not my favorite but i'll take it. If it gets me the sound I wanna hear and I cant tell the difference, gimme.

So in comes Rip Cast. After a bit of searching I find Rip Cast the popular favorite amongst the few out there doing what I wanna do. Heck it can even suck down 8 streams at once. All I wanted was one. So I leave it on last night, listening and cranking away to DRS radio.. after work today I checked out the directory to see how it did. I expected the usual, it may of crashed and I got a few tracks.. I got 742MB worth. LOL Hey now thats awesome! And its not just one huge file, it's smart, it finds the breaks and clips, name, id tags and all yer mp3's.. thats sweet people!

Sure enough those hard to find tracks that Kazaa drove me crazy about came back around and Rip Cast snagged them for me. After seeing the result I registered Rip Cast for a mere 14 bucks. Seemed worth it, considering the time it just saved me in finding new sounds. Music is like water to me, I need it, I always need it. Especially a diverse collection of tunes, techno to drum and bass to blues to acid jazz to classical, I want it all.

I have to say, while writing this I'm sucking down two streams, Groove Salad and DRS yadda yadda.. and its great!! I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

On another news front, Quicktime Player will nag me no more. I'm Pro baby.

Discreet Logic, an empire of savy expensive highly capable post production apps for "the" video house these days, creates some of the greatest programs out there. Combustion is a killer after effects type application, smoke, fire, flame, all incredible.. cleaner.. WTF happened there?!? Ok so we get Cleaner for work, the new super duper, render in the background, multiple batch application that does it all, you want yer raw dv file converted for quicktime, windows media, real player, or pocketpc playback? you need 16x9, with a few dozen streaming resolutions? hordes of options... yet the interface on this app is 1.0 amiga like... now some of you may like the amiga, i do, but this interface is from hell. And for $695 I expected better. Regardless i've endured the looks of it and its alien terminology and have succeeded in getting what i want out of it. Yet, its latest bug, I consider it a bug, is that its so network friendly it even knows if its existing somewhere else in the room on another pc. And of course, thats not nice, bah!!! So the once place i really needed it to work, it doesn't. There's always a work around but I was really ticked at not having a nice simple way to convert files regardless if im on my tablet, one of the dells, my avid box, the email machine, let alone some else needed to do something, I want applications that work in my business as a business, on all my boxes.. i paid the price, now let me play. Discreet wants another fee just to take it to another box?? I believe the term is FUK THAT!

In midst of my anger I happened to come across quicktime movie to play back.. and that nagging Upgrade to Pro sprung up on me. Fine I said, I went to apple and read the skinny on Quicktime Pro, not bad.. and its only $40, I'll give it a whirl. Ya know what... this little up is unrestricted and does nicely to a wide range of formats, granted only quicktime, but mpeg4.. and a large assortment of files are there, ready to compress and go baby go. The more I play with quicktime pro the more I like it.

Very soon you'll see something magical..

MISCHIEF 3000

Without a doubt, MISCHIEF 3000 is by far the best Netflix rental I've had in a long time. I've been looking at rally racing for awhile now and i'm pleased to see that the Gumball Rally lives on in America. Teckademics a small video house for crazed car video freaks, ya know people like me though you wouldn't know it, has turned out an excellent dvd filled with 2002 Gumball Rally footage, hordes of cops, hilarious road challenges, burnouts and more. Sure its basically the stuff of Fast and Furious but the breakdown of the rally itself was a joy to see. Highly reccomended, I give it 5 STARS!!

Course this is the only animated gif I could find on their site... still I gotta see this one next. DESTROY! I like that. Anyways back to MISCHIEF 3000, there are some seriously nice cars in that video, even a few Mini's.. and ya a few playboy chicks even. Still netflix or buy it, just see it. Good stuff. Kinda makes me wanna have a police scanner so I can tune into cops. You'll see cars doing 205 mph, and folks in one day getting like six tickets.. lol. Could be the race for you Clint, or Troy.. or anyone heh. I'd love to do it just to do it. Course to get into its like a list of friends of friends but who knows. Gumball 3000.

Oh ya and the drifting contest in there, that was good stuff too.

They still haven't perfected a low cost easy to do method on capturing video though. You'd think for something like the Gumball they'd mount some pinhole cams in the front/back end and do it right ya know? Maybe that will be my calling, to find better ways to capture road footage, using whatever tech i can find.

Speed traps anyone? See when I start surfing these tuner sites I find nothing but more cars, more links, more videos, more babes and a few gems.. like a speed trap index.. LOL.

cant sleep

I dunno why but I can't sleep. Strange really, I rarely have this problem. I woke up really hot about 2amish and had to shut off one of the pcs. Typically I leave one on all the time. I dunno, maybe a bad habbit but usually doesnt do any harm. Got the fan running in the room but even then i couldnt get back to sleep. Woke up again about now, 4amish having woken up via dream about a tidal wave. I think its because of a scene in Shaolin Soccer where the main guy kicks the ball and it has this massive wave effect hitting the goal. I dunno.

So I'm up. I saw 28 Days Later on friday, creepy Zombie Nation type flick. Overall I liked it but it got to military all gun ho at the end.. I wanted more zombies. Directed by the guy that did Trainspotting and Shallow Grave (a dan film must have classic) it has good feel to it more so than yer typical horror flick. The screenplay is decent and the characters well developed as from Mark, sorry about that man. That scene alone makes the movie worth while. I mean just the introduction and well, end of Mark makes for a good flick. Jim our lead character is a good lead and endures the zombie onslaught and shows off his own zombie like ways toward the end. Was iit as good as say.. Resident Evil? Different.. its more "wtf is happening" where is Resident Evil is more high tech gameboy here is whats going to happen. You get less clues in 28 Days Later and an alternate ending if you stay past the credits. Resident Evil had bad things inside cages.. and well in 28 Days everyones got infection!! Run!! Or as the good doctor said "don't free those chimps.. they are infected with rage!". Another thing I liked about 28 Days is that the characters are smart and aware as to typical bad things to do, well, once they learn a lesson or two. So in aspects of when you basically want to say "dont do that you moron!!" the characters themselves say that as well. Kinda nice really to have good smart thinking people who will die vs the lame I dunno type folks that usually die. And when the scares do happen, you don't usually expect them all together and they happen fast. The director plays with alot of sped up camera moves and does ranges of highspeed and slowmo work too. It makes zombies really freaky on the screen. Its a cheap work around that works better than an overly used cgi effect being needed.

On sunday I saw Pirates of the Yadda Dadda.. and I thought it was ok. Johnny Depp is the only reason to watch the flick, his performance is excellent but I found the movie overall to be kinda draggin. I guess i've seen too many movies this summer. It just wasn't the blockbuster I thought it would be. Before and after Pirates, I caught about beginning and end of Shaolin Soccer. Ya know the english dub they put on it really works. Its asian american type voices.. heh. Anyways, I found myself laughing all the time. That's just a great movie and its nice to see it on the big screen. I think I liked it better than Pirates.. lol. Least I laughed and enjoyed it more so.

A few weeks back I saw BadBoys2. Now the story is kinda subpar lame but the production value on it.. very cool. Lotta fast boats, great tech, cops that own ferrai's etc.. ya ok that last one is a joke but this movie has the best action sequences in it for the summer say next to Matrix Reloaded. The miami highway car chase is intense, very well done, tons of carnage. The hummer thru dope houses, another good carnage scene, the bad guys gettin blow the !@#!! up.. all good, the dumb story and sappy comedy.. a let down.

Now about the only movie I'm looking forward to aside from Matrix Revolutions is Underworld, which should be here in a few weeks. I really really REALLY liked the teaser trailer for this flick, the actual trailer is ok too but the music they put in the teaser was just perfect, reminded me of Dark City. The whole flick just feels good.. heh. We'll see if it will be any good.

Woah.. how'd I miss this one? Mau Mau Sex Sex?

friday update

Hmmm what's happening. Let's see, first lemme shout out ot Jenna at Chili Verde's and say thanks for the wonderful time Dave and I had there the other night. The gonzo conversation was enlightening.. i mean not everyday ya meet a gal as open to talk about the disadvantages of being "gonzo". Food was good and the margs although a mere $10 for the top shelf el supermeo deal were very good. Still a $10 marg... that just isnt right unless it comes in a big ass glass ya know? Ahhh well. And the BBQ quesadias? Hmm i dunno about that one either.

In other news, I've been sending random fedex packages to people I know for the hell of it lately. Like mystery meat! Or the infamous sky meat! But seriously I have been sending strange things to people for fun. Get on the list and I'll send you something too.

In low quality dan news I bought a polaroid camera the other day, ya know, mister instant and all. Why? I dunno, just seemed like something the focus group lab room should of have. Take pictures instantly of various antics etc while testing is going on. Seems more natural and playful than a digital camera where ya gotta hook up and print out and wait etc. Granted digital or just a normal camera would be better quality but thats not what the LQD movement is all about. Its about right here, right now. In other camera news I'm scheming to wire the pinhole camera in the mini someday. And realizing that yes LQD is cool, I'd also like some nice HQD shots of the mini, so I'm back at looking at cameras. Work picked up a bunch of the super small sonys that do 2mega pixel. Ever since I saw a decent review of the DXImage from Minolta on TechTV the other day I've been checking out that 3megapixel camera as well. It does alot more than just pictures which is always good.

west campus

After work today I went with my brothers Chris and Paul over to the west campus parking lot. Paul told me he wanted to test some manuvers out. Driving down the road it was Paul in his 1995 Toyota Supra, Chris in his Audio A6 and me in the Mini Cooper. We all looked so shiny, it was great to see all the cars together like that. Paul pulled into a big lot on west campus and roared through and pulled his parking brake and did a spin, then hit the gas and roared back over to Chris and I. Then I went, I raced across the lot, the mini just happily flying along. I've wanted to try my hand at 180's for awhile ever since Paul and I took the Cooper out on a test drive about a month ago. Zooom a complete 180 and that was with DSC on. Too much fun. The mini is sooo light it just wants to go and go. Chris went next and A6 spinned around, not as easily as the mini or supra but it spinned. The A6 is sweet car, I really love the lines of it. We continued for a bit tried different things just messed around for about 20mins. Next time i want to bring a camera along. I got some great spins out of the mini, I want that on camera not to mention I want video of the supra and the a6 as well.

Heh, that was alot of fun, kinda like this 3 point turn, and this parking, now thats how ya park. But I think I'll leave this to the pros.

Hey this car is kinda like mine.. the all black part at least.

Ok mods mods mods, what do ya think about the rivited fender look?

talkin about mini

Well its 9am on saturday and I find myself doin the usual, surfing for more info on the Mini Cooper. Addicted? Maybe? Curious? Most definently! Why? Cause, you can never have enough of it. A few links I'll toss at ya.

First up is the euro brotheren site 4 CAR, 4CAR is a good site filled with some great videos, lots of one on one tests, comparisons vs other cars and a decent amount of World Rally Cup news and pictures. I tend to hang out in the video zone and look at all the videos they got. And they have a ton. Ok see now I just watched a piece on the Aston Martin Vanquish, wow.. 460HP? Yikes! I dig that sound though.

Bridger is probably the best comprehensive Mini site i've found online to date. I love the info, the loads of videos and pics, and the site design it has, its as clean as the mini's style lines. This is a pretty kick ass site from a one guy concept. BMW should hire the man. Anyways great how to guides, club info and more. Always has the freshest news on Mini as well.

Mini2 and MiniCooperOnline is where I spend most of my time at aside from hitting Bridger first to get the latest. These sites are more like community forum portal sites but good info overall. Half of the time i find myself sniffing out ads and vendors just curious as to what accessories are available for the Mini.

Speaking of accessories, add ons, super chips, exterior add ons and more, I go to a few places for that. Like Moss Mini in the UK, ok its in the UK but odds are I can get the stuff here. Mini Mania is good too. And then theres the Cooper Works concepts as well, and the various kits they provide. Should I contact Troy? Not yet. Bob would be pleased to know that a bike rack and other addon gizmos are available for the Mini too.

Along the way I find various links, blogs about minis, road trips with minis, more community forums, heck I'll even go to places like autopia and read reviews on cleaning products, I'll even check out the crash tests,

Locally the scene is decent as well, we got MiniOK a group here in town and of course I can go see what's new at MAG now and then as well. There's this guy, a local, fellow design firm guy that has a sweet mini. He's got pics of a Mini gathering held at Quaker Steak and Lube even.

Last I checked at MAG all the mini's were sold. 2004 Mini's arrive late October 2004. By now if Todd is reading this, and I doubt he'd get this far, you've all got to be sick of Mini's, but I can't get enough really. Heck I check the weather everyday just to see if I can wash and wax without a down pour. Yep scattered storm showers today with it clearing up Sunday and holding good till wednesday.. wash and wax tomorrow then!

more on the dragon

Ah ha! I found her, more info on the dragon!

blackout city usa

So once again the drama of america unfolds. I didn't hear about it until last night and then after seeing Bad Boys 2, I forgot to watch or surf any webness to catch a glimpse of what was happening. So a big ass blackout eh? Wow. USA and the Third World Grid. Its interesting to read the various news out there, least the major news centers cnn and yahoo are very reserved and kinda tame. Course it could be pretty tame but I always find myself sniffing out blogs and photoblogs of the incident in question to get a more real feel. Sure enough there are some out there. But not as many as when 911 happened.

Even so, twas a shame, I hope everyone gets back online soon. The heat wave happening lately is sucking big time.

Check out a few of the blackout blogs, barefoot in newyork, blackout blog, ok not blackout related but segway rentals in wakiki, cities in darkness, current state of america, remember this kid, see i think this kinda news is better or at least more real than the standard cnn garb, ok not blackout related but pretty cool, forget chroma key, phonecam photoblog.

state of the flooz

So yesterday on the way home from work I was comin down bethel road and sure enough a stalled car in my lane pulled off to the side a little but not alot... everyone in my lane was trying to get over etc. The gap was small but mini was smaller so I zoomed right thru, something I couldnt do with my other car. Kinda fun really considering the line of cars trying to get over.

All black is growing on me so the jury isnt out yet on bonnet stripes for the mini. I still like the idea of driver lamps though. Hmmm dunno, dunno.

I keep reading about the Dragon Run and feel compelled to give it a whirl next year. One big ass road trip for me but it looks alot of fun. I've been planning some of my own road trips into amish town etc, ya know to see the amish, get some cheese, find some roads, explore etc.

August 12, 2003

say ello to Me'me

Well I got it, the old Mini Cooper. Its a 2002 Mini Cooper with 1800 miles on it. It's all black with 16" five star wheel design wheels, rear spoiler, very nice red and back interior, heated seats, fog lamps, cd etc, and it has the sport package so its got this dynamic stability control and a bit stiffer suspension. It drives like a dream but it doesnt quite keep up with my brothers 4.2L Audi A6. Heh.. as expected no doubt. The S is growin on me, someday. :)

Me'me as mom calls it is a joy to drive. Joy, dream, awesome, its all the same, its a lot of fun. I get alot of attention driving it. Other mini's pass me by and we all wave to each other like were family. Tuners, tricked out Civics with bad ass kids pull up next to me and rev thier nos enabled engines.. and I just laugh back at them. Kinda funny, its like i'm all fast and furious now.. but im not. Now the S would be more in that league but the cooper itself is just fun ya know. Perhaps its the "i wanna have fun" look the cooper has. I cant think of many cars that have that look. Least that look that appeals to me. Kids in thier modded cars roar past me, gun the gas when i cross them in an intersection, suvs ride on my ass as if to crush me. Meanwhile Me'me glides around town like a go-kart.

Last weeks trip to Cumberland was an excellent place to drive Me'me around. Sooo many twisty turny roads. It was mucho es fun! I love how this car corners. It just glues to the road and doesnt let go. Now that I'm back I need to plan a few day trips to amish town, pick up some cheese and just drive.

We Rockwell's had a big family reunion last night, very festive, good fun. Tried to go swimming in the local hood pool there but no can do, all stormy last night. Bummer. The lifeguards were a trip and broke out a deck of cards. We passed on poker and instead learned how to play "asshole". Course when mother asked "honey what card game are you playing" i had to quickly rename it to..."bad guy".. heh.

Everyone wants dan tunes. I created 5 new dan cds of tunes to drive the mini cooper too and they've all been gobbled up by the family. I should of been a DJ or something. Other than that not much new. I wash and detail Me'me about every chance I get. Back to work this week.. gonna try and see some movies too.

August 01, 2003

mini obey

Well theres a good chance you won't be seeing me in the old Pontiac no more. If all goes well I'll be screamin down to Lake Cumberland next week in a 2002 Mini Cooper. I think its gonna groovy. In fact its the kinda thing that inspires me. Currently its black on black, and I really need my stripe material and the white roof. But then I got into thinkin, this is the fun car, what else could I do. I thought of all the stuff i'm into what would play nicely off the mini's lines. Obey Giant would work perfectly. The retro propaganda art style along with mini's retro look could be an interesting pair.

So to play with idea I downloaded a few images and cranked out some concepts. The Obey Giant has a few distquishing marks, the obey star symbol, and the lettering and phrasing of "obey" and "giant" and the big brother image. Now I wonder, could I get the word "obey" printed on the side of a car without someone bitching at me? Like what can you do with cars, can you do anything on them paint wise? The star does look like authoritiy but at the same time its not its art. But where does the law stand on this? I just wonder. I can see myself gettng pulled over in these concepts. I mean this is the usa.

Anyways dispite all that, I went ahead and created these: obey2, obey3, obey4, obey5 my fav at the moment, obey6, obey7, and obey8. I also found a pic online of my interior.

A key thing to remember here is that the obey colors can be anything. Instead of orange and red it could just be black on white which would be even more striking appearance and probably get me pulled over sooner. I like the red cause I think it'd complement the interitor and the orange... well i'm not sure. Course I'd have to contact mr. Shepard Obey himself and get clearance to do such a thing. But I'm sure he'd be all over it, being free pr and all.

So what about the roof? Well I could see Big Brother on it here. Heh. Honestly I dont know, with a black roof it might just perfect, but I still kinda want to see a white roof and white mirrors. I could something crazy on the hood instead of the white bonnet stripes. The Obey star is too much for the hood. Maybe use some of the perferated stripe look I dunno. Need more Obey Giant art.
