Flordia was warm and comfy and dispite the WAR on whatever, I unplugged and enjoyed 5 days of sun, sand, swimming and reading. But.. now i'm back and i suppose with the ongoing "shock and awe" happening I too should toss in my two cents regarding this latest war. I think we're off base but we're in it now so lets get in and out and done with. Sadly many lives will be lost along the way I fear: (1) to those damn helicopters that keep crashing.. (2) to "shit happens" friendly fire, (3) to "hey i wanna surrender, wait suprise!".. and no doubt to the resistance of the iraq people who really don't like us. I find the media approach of this whole war, which of course has a frickin name which i find hilarious, Iraq Freeedom... sigh. Some marketing nut inside the white house has deemed that every noble effort involving 400 tommahawks needs to have some nice name wrapped around it. Anyways back to the media. Basically I'd rather get 60mins of war coverage day vs the nonstop injection of who said what said where said thats not what i said who said that what said talk. Its a mess. And you can see them squEEEEEZE the reporting out to fill time. And with these reporters there, many of which themselves are biting in the field, theres alot of unfolding that is happening and theres not an accurate picture yet, yet, that cant be broadcasted, so lets fill it in with grey matter... I dunno its comical to me. I watch it and laugh at times yet theres kids dyin over there, captured, probably scared while others are considering the shoot first ask questions later no doubt scenerios. Am I against this war? I wish we REAL frickin proof that saddam, yes hes crazy but those people in greenland piss me off too, that he had weps of mass destruction, and i just dont like it. We didnt have UN support and i wish we would of found these weps of mass badness but we didnt, yet they have them, but we havent found them yet, but most assuredly once we pave their towns with rubble we'll find them, and if not, well hell we free'd them and look OIL baby OIL and hey we'll start that whole OIL for FOOD program right away, stop suffering and here have twinkie, get fat!
Ahhh I feel better already. Anyways thats my floozyspeak on the subject, more to come as always. Thanks for updating the propaganda status for me there, whoever did that.
Lets hope we get our people back. I did just come across this, this of course is the video of our captured. I suppose this is the reality of our world today, where everyone is jacked in and information, regardless if its true or not or whatever, its just out there and you and me, them, can access it all. Course this war isnt reality TV, its worse, its taking lives on camera and i'm sure the US forces are limiting to some extent what we see but its all very, bloody.. and real. Peace!
